Poweromics and Ignoromics - Partners in Crime

Poweromics = People use position and power for their own personal gain, based on poor moral values, self interest and greed.

Ignoromics = People effectively ignorant to the overall environment and/or not prepared to take responsibility and changing things for the better.

It is 'Ignoromics' that allows 'Poweromics' to flourish and it must also change ... by using the internet to create a share understanding ... to make more people aware ... and to connect people together to change it ...

This blog has been set up to help this happen!  So please tell others about it, and about other stories/blogs too ...

Comment 109 (leanomist) but later removed by the BBC!

bobinsussex (85) has hit the nail on the head, and just to repeat it again:

"... It is time GB and his bunch of freeloaders came clean and opened the accounts to the nation so we can all see the risk they have exposed us, our children and their children to. 100 years ago we would all have taken to the streets with arms to remove this lot. Has apathy destroyed patriatism ...? "

Apathy, one aspect of Ignoromics*, will allow Poweromics** to destroy our nation, and this needs to change ... for instance take a look at the Poweromics blog at

http://poweromics.blogspot.com

... and let's start to remove it so, so we can change things for the better!

Comment 130 (Leanomist)

writingsonthewall (comment 121) ...

Shall we look at the BBC whilst we're at it too, as it's probably slightly different ... let's ask a few more questions:

1. Where do the BBC get their money from? Answer = us, the tax payer.
2. Who decides the amount tax payers pay? Answer = the Government.
3. Who decides the future of the BBC? Answer = the Government.

Can anyone see a way the Government may also have a little influence over the BBC and its reporting too?

Let's ask a couple more questions ...

4. Where did Lord Burt go to after leaving the BBC? Answer: The Government
5. What was he doing as a close aide to Tony Blair? Answer: He wouldn't tell the Select Committee (despite being repeatedly asked)!

Are the BBC really an independent voice carrying out a civic duty for the community (and paid for by us)?

Take a look at the Poweromics* blog (http://poweromics.blogspot.com) if you are as frustrated by all this as me, and want to do something about it too ...
